Create Exercise
Parents can create their own papers for their children by selecting the desired subjects, quantity, type, and difficulty level. After that, they can choose to either “Fast Creation,” which generates automatically, or use the “Advanced Settings” button to create the paper themselves.
By selecting “advanced settings,” they will be directed to the paper setting page.
Parents can add sections, delete individual questions, refresh questions, or add new questions.
Since this is an online platform, some younger students may not know how to enter text. If there are questions that require students to input text, an alert message is included in the confirmation dialogue. It suggests that parents can either export the paper by printing it out or revise the question.
Parents have the option to export the paper by sending it online to the student or downloading it.
3. Daily Practice
Parents can track their child’s progress in daily practice, viewing completed exercises and performance metrics.
UI : Student –
1. Homepage
The homepage will present two practice modes prominently, allowing student to easily navigate between daily practice and assigned mock papers.
2. Daily Practice
This section provides daily practice materials and the history for the three subjects, enabling student to engage in regular skill development.
Students are allowed to select which subject they would like to start with.
Once they start, a timer records and shows them how long they spent to finish the practice. The sequence of questions is shown at the bottom to indicate if they have completed all the questions or not.
Here’s the confirmation dialogue for submission and the warning for changing subjects. Students are not allowed to switch to another subject unless they have finished the current one.
After submission, students will receive instant results.
3. Assigned Mock Papers
On this page, the outstanding mock papers assigned by parents will be displayed for easy access. The number of days since the assigned papers were created is marked at the corner of the card to remind students not to leave them for too long.
Students can start the exercise by clicking on the desired card. Additionally, a timer is displayed to record the duration.
As the assigned mock papers allow parents to create several sections, a section index is added to the question indicators in the fixed bottom bar for students to easily check and access.
Once completed, students can submit their answers for instant checking as well.
By selecting the “Other” tab next to the “Papers”, students can review the completed mock papers.
Reflection –
To further improve the online learning platform, several enhancements can be considered:
Gamification elements to increase children’s engagement and motivation.
Enhanced analytics and reporting features to provide more comprehensive insights into children’s performance.
Collaboration features that enable communication between parents and children.
Mobile application compatibility for on-the-go access and convenience.
By incorporating these improvements, the platform can provide an even more robust and user-friendly experience for children, parents, and educators.
